MUST-READS
I’m a Pennsylvania raised turned Southern Girl residing in the heart of North Carolina. My love for home decor, organization, experimentation and creativity inspired me to share my journey!
MEET STACY

I’m starting a little organizing series to tackle the main areas within your home to keep everything clutter free and easy to find.
Since our wedding in March, we spent our first few months as newlyweds moving my husband’s stuff in and putting away all our wedding gifts.
Now I’m on an OPERATION ORGANIZATION project to get rid of the items we no longer need or use and to make sure everything has a spot and looks neat and tidy, especially behind those closet doors!
Having an organized kitchen can make such a difference in your productivity throughout the day. Most kitchens are “the center of the home” meaning they are the area that tends to get the most traffic throughout the day. Having organized countertops, drawers and cabinets throughout your kitchen will allow you to easily be able to grab what you need for any meal prep, make cleanup easier as each item has a designated place to go, and will compliment any kitchen design/style as the true details of the kitchen will stand out instead of competing with overflowing dishes and last night’s dinner prep.
Kitchen Cabinets
With so many new kitchen gadgets, appliances and necessities, it is so easy to overstuff your kitchen cabinets in order to store everything you need. Incorporating a few organizers, separators and shelves, you can have all your cabinets clutter-free and easy and user-friendly!
The Pantry
There are so many versions of a kitchen pantry. For some homes, this is simply a cabinet designated for all food items. For other homes, you may have an actual closet and room to work with. No matter the size or structure, having an organized pantry will do wonders for your daily lifestyle

The Mudroom/Coat Closet will look different in every home. This area may serve as your “welcome” area when you walk into the door. Having an organized place to hang coats, place your keys and store your shoes will allow for easy access to the important items as well as keep them uncluttered so your house feels more welcoming and inviting!
The bathroom is another frequently used room within a home. Whether it’s beauty products, daily toiletries or cleaning items, have an organized system within your bathroom closets, drawers, and cabinets will make your day-to-day routine flow.

Your bedroom should feel like a retreat; a place of relaxation at the end of the day to rest. Walking into a bedroom filled with clothes and clutter can instantly take this feeling of relaxation away. Having a good organized system throughout your drawers and closets will allow for a location of all of your items, making it a breeze to keep the clutter out of sight!
The Closet
Many home offices are getting more use these days! Having an organized system for all your essentials and important items will allow for a better work flow and more productivity.
Stay tuned for a breakdown of each area within your home for some tips and tricks on how to keep everything organized as well as some fun inspirations on how to bring in some style and design to your space.
